Today I will bring to your attention a lovely, feminine and gentle woman, Grace Kelly. She is the standard of taste and style.
“From the very childhood Grace was a princess” said Frank Sinatra.
The history of this woman’s life is amazing.
Grace Kelly was Princess of Monaco and actress. She starred in 10 films and managed to take the “Oscar” for the “The Country Girl”.
Grace was born in the family of a wealthy industrialist, but high society does not attract her at all. She wanted to conquer the world. Every day she was discovering something new. She would like to surprise people and be surprised. She herself move her way into the movie, studying acting and coming to numerous auditions. Success came to her a few years after the beginning of the attempt.
In the 50s she broke through to Broadway. Cult director Hitchcock cast her in three of his films. And in 1956, after the “Oscar” and recognizable roles, Grace married the Prince of Monaco.
Grace has a symbolic role in the movie “The Swan”. The idea was that if the swan comes ashore, it becomes … ordinary bird walking around like a goose. Swan is only good in the water. So it makes no sense to show it on the land.
The sense is that you always have a choice who you would like to be. Since the childhood Grace learned that gloves and hat, hair and proud posture (even on the beach!) are a demand not only for the Princess, but for a simple woman. However, if it is very difficult and tiring, you can always choose the path of a goose.
“…I cannot live in bathrobe, slippers and with dull expression on the face”, wrote Grace. Know the worth and always be a woman (weak and tender), let women’s secrets be your trump card. And if, in order to be “swan” you need “to stay in the water”, and then “do not go out on the land!”
Grace Kelly died in 1982 in car crash. Her husband till his death in 2005 was alone.
Several films and songs are dedicated to one of the most beautiful woman of the 20th century.
And how about positive thoughts and strength of words?
Grace wrote that from the very first day of her marriage with Prince Rainier she promised herself not to argue him. “I chose this path by my own so is there any sense to argue my soul mate? The problem of most women is to tittle-tattle their husbands with their friend”. Grace suggested finding only positive features in your husband. It is valuable advice in present time!
